This is an Azure cloud environment and they are looking to create a plan/strategy to implement to the organization PROFESSIONAL SKILLS- Implemented strategies for enterprise data warehouse/lake or database architectures and consulted on migrating, integrating and selecting platforms for a warehouse to support multiple applications
- Skills in data architecture, operations, or deployment methodologies and techniques including experience with formal architecture methodologies. Experience with Azure important
- Developed data warehouse roadmap and architectures for large financial services organizations.
- After designing the data warehouse framework, organized the team and led the successful implementation and rollout to the business
- Experience with design, engineering and/or implementation of relational & non-relational technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Hadoop, Snowflake, etc)
- Experienced in developing and executing a data strategy to optimize value for defined organizations
- Knowledge in performance considerations for complex, distributed and/or cloud-based environments
- Excellent problem solving and project management skills & demonstrated ability to manage budgets, communications, timelines
- Strong ability to work with the business to define requirements and develop a technology plan to support these requirements
- Deep experience with technical, architecture, leadership and design factors for each project
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate effectively
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills – ability to identify, resolve and follow-up on issues
- Outstanding speaking, listening, and reading communication skills
- Outstanding customer service and exceptional interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
- Strong experience with financial services organizations
